Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
What is a pawnshop and how does it work?
A pawnshop provides short-term collateral loans. You bring valuable items, we appraise them and offer a loan based on their value. If you repay the loan plus interest, you get your items back. If not, we keep the items.
How does the pawning process work?
Bring your items for appraisal. If you accept our loan offer, we secure your items and provide immediate cash. The standard loan period is 30 days, with options to extend.
What items do you accept?
We accept gold, silver, jewelry, luxury watches (Rolex, Omega, etc.), diamonds, gemstones, electronics, coins, and other valuable items.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment needed. Walk in during business hours for a free, no-obligation appraisal. We serve customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Buying & Selling
How does selling items work?
Bring your items for a free appraisal. Our experts will evaluate them in front of you. If you accept our offer, we complete the paperwork and pay you immediately in cash.
What documents do I need to sell?
You need a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or national ID card) for all transactions. This is required by law.
How will I be paid?
We provide immediate cash payment for all items we purchase. No waiting, no checks - you walk out with cash the same day.
Do you buy broken items?
Yes, we buy broken gold, silver, jewelry, and electronics. The value is based on the precious metal content or salvageable parts.
Loans & Pawning
How much can I borrow?
Loan amounts are typically up to 75% of your item's appraised value. The exact amount depends on the item type, condition, and current market prices.
How long can I keep the loan?
Standard loan periods are 30 days. You can extend by paying the interest due. Many customers extend for several months.
What if I can't repay my loan?
You have options: extend the loan by paying interest, make partial payments, or surrender the collateral. We never report to credit bureaus, so your credit score is not affected.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. Pawn loans don't require credit checks and we don't report to credit bureaus. Your credit score is never affected by pawn transactions.
Pricing & Appraisals
How do you determine prices?
Prices are based on current market values for precious metals, item condition, brand, authenticity, and demand. We use real-time market data and expert appraisal.
Are prices negotiable?
Our prices are competitive and based on market values. We strive to offer fair prices from the start, and we're always transparent about how we arrive at our valuations.
Why do different items get different prices?
Each item is unique. Factors include precious metal content, karat/purity, brand value, condition, age, rarity, and current market demand.
Do appraisals cost anything?
All our appraisals are completely free with no obligation. You can get a professional valuation and decide whether to proceed with no pressure.
